China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd is china’s first heavy duty truck manufacturer. It manufactured china’s first heavy duty truck, HUANGHE branded JN150 8-ton truck in 1960; and successfully introduced the STEYR heavy duty truck project from Austria in 1983 and became china’s first company to comprehensively introduce foreign heavy duty truck manufacturing technology of complete veicle. In 2009, SINOTRUK established its strategic partnership with German MAN SE, by which MAN SE holds 25%+1 share in SINOTRUK (Hong Kong) Limited. SINOTRUK introduced three models (D20,D26 and D08) of engines, axles of medium duty and heavy duty trucks, and relevant technologies of complete vehicles from MAN, laying a solid foundation for corporate long term growth.

SINOTRUK Professionally be responsible for running of all the products of SINOTRUK heavy duty trucks and spare parts. The complete trucks include HOWO, STEYR, STEYR-K, HOVA, GOLDN PRINCE, HAOYUN etc of the cargo trucks, dump trucks, tractor heads, trailers, concrete mixer trucks, tanker trucks as well as many special vehicles with the horse power range from 266 to 420HP.

  • Improve sales and operations and production planning:The teams focused their efforts on a few of the highest-value S&OP levers in order to review the current planning process, identify gaps in the planning infrastructure and analytically understand demand and supply variability.
  • Determine the right inventory level:With hundreds of medications in the market, Pharm Ltd. needed a proper method to predict and manage their inventory. Using a mean absolute percentage analysis (MAPE), the teams defined appropriate levels for raw materials and finished products by mapping actual versus forecasted sales on the most important SKUs.
  • Optimize the supply chain for perfect order planning:

The diagnostic determined the stressors that affected sales and service levels. The teams focused on resolving issues related to higher-than-normal back-orders and lead times, which stressed the entire supply chain and led to delays in medications reaching consumers.
